The expected match in the StarLadder CIS RMR tournament was finally played. Russian derby between NAVI and Gambit Esports was an awesome match. Furthermore, the winner was Gambit Esports A.K.A Best of the world.
Day 5 of StarLadder CIS RMR 2021 is complete. On the day the teams to make the play-offs were announced, spectators were amused by the chosen teams. Gambit won 2-1 in the challenge, which we watched on Mirage, Dust 2, and Inferno maps. It was no surprise that Gambit won, since it was by far the favourite team.
While Natus Vincere closed out the first half of the Gambit-selected map Mirage by 9-6, they won the required rounds in the second half. Na’Vi took the lead on the first map and got off to a very confident start to the map of its own choice, Dust 2. Still, Gambit didn’t forget why it was the best in the HLTV rankings. Gambit brought the fight to the third map with consecutive rounds. They were aware of its power on the Inferno map. Afterwards, they finished their group in 1st place and they won the big Russian Derby.
The MVP of the match came from the losing team. For many, the best s1mple in CS:GO was the best in this match, with a 76-56 K/D ratio. s1mple finished with an average of 86 damages and a 1.27/2.0 rating per round. But, this tremendous performance was not enough to win the match.
In the Russian derby, Gambit Esports proved its superiority by winning for the second time in a row. The tournament play-offs start today at 5 p.m. This stage, which will be played in the Bo3 format, will take place in 2 stages: Upper and Lower. The champion, like most tournaments, will be decided in the latest Grand Final. The tournament winner will earn $40,000. Furthermore, the winner team will earn 2000 RMR points. The RMR point is a new system that will benefit teams to participate in major tournaments. Furthermore, teams that do not advance to the majors with qualifying tournaments can be invited with RMR points.
