Sangal Esports Gets Closer To MDL

Turkey’s representative Sangal Esports faced against Movistar Riders on “advanced playoff upper bracket final”. After the match, Sangal took a big advantage to participate in MDL by winning the match by 2-0.

By winning the “advanced playoff upper bracket final”, Sangal will be ahead by 1-0 against their rivals in the grand final match. The other finalist will be determined by Winstrike vs Movistar Riders match. The winner of that match is going to face Sangal Esports in the grand final, which will be held on 3 December. The grand final match is Bo5-formatted, but for Sangal Esports only 4 wins will be enough, because of winning the “advanced playoff upper bracket final”. After the “consolidation final” the winner of the Sangal vs “the winner of the consolidation final” will be participating in MDL.

By losing against Sangal Esports, Movistar Riders is relegated to the lower bracket. At that stage of the competition, they will play the “consolidation final” with Winstrike, the team that won the lower final. The match will be held on 30 November.
