EPEC Winter 2020 featured ESL National Champions. Sangal Esports was taking part in this tournament. It was the last champion of INTEL ESL Championship. Sangal Esports, who managed to come so far successfully, lost to LDLC 2-1 and said goodbye to the tournament. Sangal had got defeated in EPEC Winter 2020.
ESL European Championship Winter 2020 whose champion will participate in the IEM Katowice 2021 Play-In stage started today. Turkish representative Sangal Esports faced the French team LDLC in the quarter-final phase of EPEC Winter 2020. In the event, which was organized in a single elimination format, the matches took place in the Best of 3 format. In the series where Inferno, Nuke, Train maps were played respectively, Sangal said goodbye to the tournament after losing by 2-1.
While Sangal won the Inferno map, which they picked themselves, with a score of 16-4 very easily, although they finished the first half ahead 9-6 on the Nuke map, Sangal Esports defeated 10-5 to his opponent on the T side and lost the map with a total score of 16-14. On the Train map which would determine the series, although our representative finished the first half ahead by 8-7, in the second half, the LDLC team managed to equal the score by 15-15. In the match leading to overtime, LDLC won the map with a score of 22-20. LDLC, won the series 2-1 and ended our representative Sangal Esports’s IEM Katowice 2021 Play-In adventure.

Turkey’s representative Sangal Esports , who got defeated from EPEC Winter 2020, will meet with GamerLegion at the Shadow League Season 1 event on January 19, 2021 at 12.00, and with the AGO team in ESEA Premier Season 36 Europe on January 21, 2021.
