Turkish representative Sangal played its first match in the BLAST Rising 2021 with EC Brugge. Here are the details of Sangal’s match against EC Brugge! In the tournament organized by Fantasyexpo, Sangal Esports lost its first match.
Sangal Esports was invited to the event, in which potential teams from the top 100 in the CS: GO Team ranking participated. Sangal started the tournament with poor performance in the event with a prize pool worth of $30,000.
Competitors of Sangal in Group A are LDLC , EC Brugge , and UMX. As for the opening challenge, Sangal faced EC Brugge. As for the map selection of the first challenge, while the EC Brugge team chose Mirage, Turkish representative chose the Sangal Nuke map. In a possible draw, Dust 2 map was preferred.
Mirage
Sangal entered the Best of 3 series with the map chosen by EC Brugge. Although the opponent chose it, Sangal could not reflect the desired gameplay on its favourite map. The same problems were continuing in Sangal, which had problems on the defense side in the Mirage map. In the first half they started as defense, Sangal was able to get only 5 rounds in a map like Mirage and they closed the first half 10-5 with EC Brugge ahead.
As we reached the second half, Sangal continued its scattered game in the first three rounds. The opponent kept the game under constant control, saying that we received some return signals from Sangal. Considering that the score is 6-6, we watched a more equal game in the second half. However, it was not enough for Sangal to win the first map and the team lost the match by 16-11.
Nuke
The second map of the series was Nuke by Sangal’s choice. Although it is one of the worst maps they had, it is not known why they chose Nuke instead of Dust 2. Things were still not going well for the Sangal team, who were not officially in the game mentally. It was obvious that the team, which had difficulties in communication, had problems playing maps that they do not know. As for the score of the match, they lost by 15-0 in the first half with a terrible game. Team EC Brugge won the match by 16-0, taking the only round it needed in the second half.
