Square Enix E3 2021 presentation has been bit short, but not without surprises. Square Enix revealed a couple of new titles, including Guardians of the Galaxy and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, at E3 2021.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a production of a collaborative work between Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix. As some of you may know, Square Enix also published Marvel’s Avengers. In this game, we are only going to control the Starlord. Furthermore, there are a number of choices and dialogues that guide the course of the game. In addition to these, the music of the 80s is going to be a focus point, throughout the game. Executives of the game, also emphasize that the game has a rock’n’roll atmosphere. We should also mention that the game has a unique sense of humor that is akin to the movies and comics. The game will make its debut on October 26.
If you are one of those people that say “I’m interested in Final Fantasy. However, the old graphics are not appealing at all.”, we have great news for you. Square Enix will publish the remastered versions of the first 6 games of the famous JRPG series. However, it is worth warning in advance that the productions in question will not be similar to Final Fantasy 7 remake. So, with these games, don’t expect a complete overhaul. Most of the improvements will focus on graphics. The release date is still unknown. We should also note that, these games are also planned to be published on mobile platforms.
Legend of Mana is another game that will receive graphical improvements. Square Enix, only announced a a release date: June 24, and nothing else. The game will come to Switch and PC.
Marvel’s Avengers is getting a expansion, focused on Wakanda. During the E3 event, we learned more about this expansion, including Wasteland Patrol and Cosmic Cube, where we will have a chance to play against Scientist Supreme. You will of course, be able to play as Black Panther.
Babylon’s Fall is a hack-and-slash type of game that takes place in a fantastical universe and focuses on dungeon exploration. PlatinumGames packed a lot of action, into this game. You can choose to play solo or with others in co-op up to maximum 4 people. The game will release on PS4, PS5 and the PC.
Life is Strange Remastered is releasing on September 30.

Team Ninja, famous for Ninja Gaiden series, is making their own Final Fantasy Spinoff. The hack-and-slash game will take place in a dark atmosphere. We don’t have a release date, though a PS5 demo is on the way.
