Like many other big companies recently, Square Enix has also produced a special livestream for their games. The first broadcast of the year was made on March 18. During the livestream, new information was shared about games such as Outriders, Tomb Raider, Marvel’s Avengers and Balan Wonderworld. In addition, the new game of the Life is Strange series, Life is Strange: True Colors, was also announced. You can watch the full version of the Square Enix Spring 2021 broadcast down below.
I think the biggest news of the livestream was the announcement of the new game in the Life is Strange series. Life is Strange: True Colors, which is planned to be released on September 10, 2021, will be offered in a single package, so this time it will not be published in episodes.
Life is Strange Remastered Collection was also announced during the stream. It will include Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The games will have better textures and animations. It will be sold separately some time this year, or you can get them with the purchase of Life is Strange: True Colors gold edition.
Forspoken, formerly known as Project Athia, looks like a large-scale action-adventure game. The world of the game looks great, but we still don’t have much about the game. The game is planned to be released in 2022.
Designed by the producer of Sonic the Hedgehog, Balan Wonderworld A Hero or Two looks like a fun platform-based game. The game will be released on March 26th.
The Outriders game, will be released on April 1 and was also featured on the live broadcast with some trailers. You can download the demo right now or you can read our preview where I shared my first glance views on the game.
During the livestream, Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy was announced. Starting today, you will be able to purchase all the games and DLCs of the new Tomb Raider trilogy in one package.
As someone who doesn’t like mobile games, I don’t want to say to much. Just Cause Mobile, as the name suggests, will bring the Just Cause series to mobile platforms.
Another mobile game. This time it covering the Hitman series. Hitman Sniper Assassins looks like a sequel to the previously released game Hitman: Sniper.
Space Invaders AR looks like it will be a version of the classic game that works with AR technology like Pokemon GO.
I don’t want to say anything about this game. If you ask why, just watch the video above.
Marvel’s Avengers deserves to be below even Bubble Bobble 4 Friends. If you ask why just know that it is the embodiment of a mediocre game. During the livestream, it was announced that the game will receive an update for new consoles and an expansion would be released this year, evolving around the Black Panther.
