SuperMassive Blaze beat G2 Esports 2-0 in VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Challengers and secured a Stage 3: Masters Berlin ticket.
On the first day of the tournament, SuperMassive Blaze defeated FunPlus Phoenix to advance to the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals.
G2 Esports, on the other hand, started the tournament from the Winners Match Quarter Finals and defeated Oxygen Esports after an eventful fight and made his mark in the semi-finals.
The first match of the fight, was played on the BIND map. SuperMassive Blaze closed the first half with an 8-4 lead. The team, who did not let his opponent breathe in the second half, brought the situation to 1-0 in the series with a score of 13-4.
The second match was played on the ASCENT map. SuperMassive closed the first half with a score of 9-3 after a clear 8-0 series. The team later continued to apply the same pressure for the second half. They cornered their opponent and spoiled their tactics. SuperMassive managed to close the series with a score of 13-5 with Turko’s superior performance.
The MVP of the match was Turko, who smashed his opponent in the B side defense.
With this result, SuperMassive Blaze won itself a Berlin ticket.
