VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: EMEA Challengers Playoffs are coming to a close. Turkish Team SMB, which had previously secured the Berlin ticket, defeated Acend 2-1 and advanced to the Grand Final.
The first match leading to the Grand Final was played on the BIND map. Acend, who closed the first half 8-4 ahead, did not allow the return of the Turkish team in the second half and brought the situation to 1-0 in the series with a score of 13-6.
The second match was played on the SPLIT map. Closing the first half leading 7-5, SMB put an end to the match with 9 laps in a row in the match where Brave and Turko became stars. With this result, SMB managed to equalize the situation in the series.
The deciding match of the series was played on the HAVEN map. The first half was tied 6-6. SMB managed to close the match, in which pAura carried the team and Izzy proved himself. With the score of 13-10, SMB advanced to the Grand Final.
With this result, SuperMassive Blaze got his spot in the Grand Final, while Acend became the opponent of Gambit Esports in the Losers Bracket Finals.
