Team Liquid Became the Last Chance Qualifier Champion!

Team Liquid became the champion in the Last Chance Qualifier tournament in which 8 teams participated.

Having beaten One Breath Gaming and Guild Esports 2-0, the team advanced to the Grand Final by beating G2 Esports 2-1 in the Winners Matchup Final. Team Liquid‘s opponent in the Grand Final was Guild Esports, which beat G2 Esports with a score of 2-0 in the Losers Matchup Final.

The first match of the Grand Final was played on the HAVEN map. Making a great start to the Grand Final, Guild Esports finished the first half with a score of 11-1. Guild Esports, who knew how to close the match comfortably in the second half, won the map with a score of 13-5. With this, they took a 1-0 lead in the grand final.

The second match was played on the ASCENT map. Although Guild Esports closed the first half with a 7-5 lead, they couldn’t stop Team Liquid’s great performance in the second half. Team Liquid, who won the map with a score of 13-10, made the score 1-1 in the grand final.

The third match was played on the SPLIT map. Team Liquid, who closed the first half 8-4 ahead, won the map with a score of 13-7 with their great performance in the second half. They took a 2-1 lead in the grand final.

The fourth match of the series was played on the BREEZE map. Team Liquid, who closed the first half 8-4 ahead, did not allow their opponent to return to the series and reached the championship with a score of 13-7.

Thanks to the Last Chance Qualifier championship, Team Liquid also got the right to participate directly in the VALORANT Champions tournament.
