Team Liquid signing with oSee

Team Liquid confirms long-running rumors by announcing Josh “oSee” Ohm as their third player for the 2022 CS:GO roster. After a year with Extra Salt, the 22-year-old will join the North American organization as a specialized AWPer.

oSee was the best player in North America’s tier two, with an average rating of 1.29 for the entire year of 2021. Extra Salt didn’t have a lot of international success, but the North American team finished second at Funspark ULTI 2020 and breezed through the ESL Pro League Season 15 Conference. The 22-year-old outstanding AWPer has previously played for numerous North American teams like Team Singularity, ATK, Cloud9, and most recently, Extra Salt. He believes it will be a valuable learning experience for him and that Liquid has the firepower to be a strong competitor in CS:GO.

oSee at IEM Katowice 2020

To be honest, my FPS career began when I was around six or seven years old. After that, I started playing CS:GO about 2012-13 after playing a game called ‘Soldier Front,’ which is also a PC FPS shooter. I kept playing it and eventually joined my first open team in 2014-15.

Team Liquid’s 2022 CS:GO roster plans

After a difficult year for Liquid, which included several internal conflicts with the team’s leadership, the management decided to scrap the bulk of the squad and start again. With the addition of a third member, Liquid has confirmed 60% of their lineup for the next competitive season, including Keith “NAF” Markovic and Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski.

Following oSee, it was revealed that Nick “nitr0” Cannella and Richard “shox” Papillon would fill the last two slots in the squad, despite the fact that both players had previously left their prior teams, 100 Thieves VALORANT and Vitality.
