Team Liquid Wins Big At VCT 2021 Europe!

VCT 2021: The Grand Final Europe 3rd Stage 2nd Qualification has finished. Team Liquid became the champion after beating Giants Gaming 3-1.

The first match of the Grand Final took place on the ICEBOX map. Team Liquid, who closed the first half 9-3 ahead, carried their game to the second half and brought the situation to 1-0 in the series with a score of 13-5.

The second match of the match took place on the ASCENT map. Closing the first half leading 10-2, Giants Gaming showed a sluggish performance in the second half, but they managed to close the map with a score of 13-10 and equalized the situation in the series.

The third match took place on the BREEZE map. Team Liquid, which dominated the first half under the leadership of ScreaM, closed the half with a 10-2 lead. Team Liquid, who experienced the mental eclipse of their opponent in the last match, closed the map with a score of 13-10, although it was difficult, and made the situation 2-1 in the series.

The fateful fight of the series was played on the BIND map. In the fight where ScreaM and soulcas became stars, Team Liquid closed the first half 7-5 ahead. Team Liquid, who wanted to end the series in the second half, did not let their opponent breathe and managed to win the match with a score of 13-6. With this result, Team Liquid became the champion and won the prize of 15,000.

Although Giants Gaming finished second in the tournament, they bought their EMEA ticket for the tournament slot and pocketed the €10,000 prize.
