Team Spirit Parted Ways With Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev!

Team Spirit, one of the successful Russian organizations, parted ways with Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev. The organization made a statement on its official Twitter account.

Before the DreamHack Open November 2021 tournament, Nikolay “mir” Bityukov and Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov were added to the transfer list. At the end of the tournament, sdy joined the list of names added to the transfer list.

sdy made an announcement on Twitter and explained the situation as follows:

Our vision of future in the team was different and i decide to part away with the Spirit(moving myself to the bench, buyout option). Wanna say thanks to every person that i was touched with in Spirit history. Special thanks to my only coach Certus who believed in me back than, and CEO Cheshir. I loved my every teammate and tried to gave my all. That was a fun run, i will never forget it, one of the best parts of my life. I wish best of luck to young guns and Spirit overall. Last tournament for me under Spirit logo will be red bull 2×2 flick.

I’m actively searching for a new home, cis/eu/na(based in eu) more towards EU teams (my English on pretty decent lvl for cs), can play any role that game can offer, I’m willing to win from the bottom of my heart. I am stable in the judgment that if the team fully and holistically believes in their path, sooner or later it will lead to their common goal, it is just that everyone needs to believe in it. I know my minimum and my maximum(0-16KEKL), and its only beginning.

The 24-year-old Ukrainian player sdy joined Team Spirit in January 2018. In the last 3 years, they have won tournaments such as Pinnacle Cup 2, Insane FASTCUP 1, DreamHack Open January 2021 Europe, ESL One: Road to Rio -CIS, and StarSeries i-League Season 7 Europe Qualifier.

In major tournaments, the team had an unsuccessful year. Despite everything, they managed to get into the top 6 of the HLTV CS:GO World Team Rankings.

Current Team Spirit Roster

  • Boris “magixx” Vorobiev
  • Abdul “degster” Gasanov
  • Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin
  • Robert “Patsi” Isyanov
  • Nikolay “Certus” Poluyanov (Coach)
  • Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev (On Transfer List)
  • Nikolay “mir” Bityukov (On Transfer List)
  • Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov (On Transfer List)

Team Spirit, who finished last in the DreamHack Open in November 2021, upset their fans.
