tecoNe Made a Statement About the Bit Scam Controversy!

Professional VALORANT player Gökay “tecoNe” Noğayer made a statement about the Twitch Bit Scam controversy.

Playing for Beşiktaş Esports, tecoNe is among the esports players alleged to have been on the Bit Scam scheme. Moreover, Dilara Toprakci, the girlfriend of tecoNe, was another name on the list.

The professional player, who shared a video on Twitter, explained how he and his girlfriend got into this Bit Scam affair. However, tecoNe removed the video after a short while.

In the video he shared, tecoNe said that he did not open a stream or make a statement because he was ashamed and regretted it. He added that the person who sent the Bits first reached his girlfriend.

Pro player said that when the Bit Scam list was shared, he remained silent because he thought his streaming career at Twitch would be over. However, Dilara Toprakci continued doing the Bit Scam for 4 months, until she entered BBL Esports.

After she signed with the BBL Esports, she cut off all her contact with the person sending Bits. Then, tecoNe got in touch with the anonymous person who sent bit.

Gökay stated that in his five-year streaming career, he witnessed everyone earn great money through illegal ways and he started doing this Bit Scam as a result of his anger. Although he added that using stolen credit cards was just a claim.
