The Format of the VCT Game Changers EMEA Has Changed Again!

The format of the VCT Game Changers tournament, in which all-female VALORANT teams compete, has changed once again. VALORANT apologized to everyone for the inconvenience it caused.

The new Game Changers EMEA, announced last week, excited VALORANT lovers. However, the new format, the All-In clause in particular, raised some question marks.

This clause, which allows women and men to compete together, got cancelled as of today. It was stated on Twitter that the new format was converted back to the old one.

VALORANT defends that the All-In format was created to encourage teams of different genders. It is also stated that this format will be on the agenda again in the future. However, they decided that it is too early compared to the current order and response.

VCT Game Changers EMEA 2, scheduled for October 25-31, will be in the same format as the 1st tournament. In other words, only women will take part in this tournament, just like in the first one. No explanation has yet been made as to whether the other rules are still valid.

VALORANT stated that their goal of creating a diversity has not changed. They also stated, they will reconsider the idea of male and female players together later.
