The Story of Kutahya Esports Organization

Kutahya Esports, a popular esports team located in Turkey, did not fulfill their promises to their young players. In this news, we shall talk about the rise of Kutahya Esports team, the person in charge, and its shady business model.

As we can see from the title, we wanted the share this important information that we found in our research about Kutahya Esports. We thought that it would be useful to share this information with our talented gamers who are somewhat curious about the esports sector.

The Rise of Kutahya Esports

In November 2020, Kutahya Esports announced that the organization shall partake in many esports media. With the hashtag, #Seninlemümkün Kutahya Esports planned to “compete with other esport professional teams”. The esports team offered many promises like jerseys, gamepads, and fan merchandise. Fans of the team obviously, were overjoyed and put their faith in the team. The PUBG team which sponsored by Kutahya Esports placed in 4th in PUBG Invitational Fall Cup, and won 1,500 Turkish Liras.

The organization’s esports adventure was going pretty well. Many teams joined the organization and many new contracts were signing daily. Within months, every gamer in Turkey knew the name: “Kutahya Esports”. Then, what went wrong exactly? How Kutahya Esports disgraced its players and fans? What was the breaking point? dear readers, that’s one helluva story.

The Fall of Kutahya Esports

On March 2, Kutahya Esports PUBG team suddenly disbanded. Disagreements between organizations and players are not that uncommon. But, as we reached out to the players and tried to learn the details, the players said this about the whole situation;

We were Kutahya Esports PUBG team. We requested pre-payment. They gave us no answer. We rightfully demanded 1,500 Turkish Liras per month. No answer. Then they told us not to worry. The organization signed a new sponsor agreement. You will get your money. We didn’t. We have been waiting for our team’s jersey for almost 3 months. And the worst part? The organization did the same thing for the VALORANT team as well.

Here’s some tweets about organization and Omer Demiral;

Want to participate in Turkish Championship League? Stop scamming your players and making false promises.

Stay far clear from Omer Demiral and his organization. This was not his first incident. He regularly tries to scam people.

Who is this Omer Demiral?

There is not much to say about this guy really. He is the person who crushed many young and talented player’s dreams. Although, we found many “comments” about the founder of Kutahya Esports on the internet. Mostly warnings for naive players. What I like about the internet is that his despicable acts shall be known by the people forever. A perfect punishment for this scammer.

It’s really a shame about the young players though. Imagine a big organization making false promises just to fill their pockets. Shattering hopes and dreams of the player. It’s just heartbreaking. The Turkish esports sector definitely needs the right investors and the right managers. We need to be better for the sake of our young blooming players.
