tN1R Speaks to HLTV After Defeating Spirit!

tN1R, in his final tournament before leaving the team, claimed victory over his future squad Spirit and gave an interview to HLTV afterwards.

HEROIC made a surprising breakthrough at the Esports World Cup 2025, defeating Spirit 2-1 in their opening match. Following this unexpected loss, Spirit had to exit the tournament early. The ironic twist is that HEROIC player tN1R eliminated the very team he is set to join after the event.

Congratulations, how do you feel?
Thank you. I feel good (laughs). I think this was a very important match for us because it was our last dance as this roster, and being able to make history like this feels special. These will be great memories for the future.

Did knowing this is your last tournament with HEROIC motivate you to show your best Counter-Strike?
Yes. For me, it was very important to show my best performance, and as a team, I also wanted us to achieve a good result. This means a lot to me, because I think our fans want to see a strong finish with this roster. That’s all.

There are rumors that you will be joining Spirit. Now you’ve played against them and beaten them. Did that feel strange?
I don’t really know what to say, because those are just rumors.

This is your last tournament with HEROIC. How important is it for you to go as deep as possible?
Of course, it’s very important, because we want to show results. It means a lot to everyone, and it’s also very important for the VRS system. Beating strong teams gives us a lot of points.

How did you manage to beat Spirit today? What was the key to your team’s victory?
Because we knew this was our last tournament together. Everyone felt a sense of freedom. They didn’t care about the result, they just wanted to have fun and show good performances.
