Top-Earning Teams in the First Half of 2021

With the first half of 2021 behind us, let’s take a look at the teams that made the most money from tournaments. Don’t let the list surprise you, as games like League of Legends haven’t had their biggest tournaments yet. Here are the top-earning teams!

We left behind many tournaments with online and LAN format. Also, while most games haven’t seen major tournaments yet, mid and minor tournaments have made an interesting statistic. The most interesting of these is the Susquehanna Soniqs team, who are the current leader of PUBG and the list.

Soniqs‘ winning the PUBG Global Invitational brought them nearly $1.3M into their hands. This small team, whose name we hadn’t expected to see in any major tournament or award, has taken the lead thanks to the only award it has won.

The same goes for NAVI in CS:GO. The Russian representative, Natus Vincere, had tremendous success by knocking out the world’s best Gambit. This puts them in the CS:GO leaderboard and 3rd place on our list for now. But NAVI has one difference from Soniqs; NAVI is capable of being the best in the world.

Another similar situation is valid for Ninjas in Pajamas. Even though they got “device”, one of CS:GO’s top AWP players, the fact that they still haven’t achieved great success doesn’t mean they won’t be on our list. Because the organization won $1 million by winning first place at Rainbow Six Siege‘s big event in May.

Here is the top-earning teams list from tournaments in the first half of 2021:

  1. Susquhenna Soniqs: $1.42M
  2. Team Liquid: $1.27M
  3. Natus Vincere: $1.22M
  4. Ninjas in Pajamas: $1.19M
  5. Gambit Esports: $1.19M
  6. Nova eSports: $1.14M
  7. Gen.G Esports: $1.10M
  8. Atlanta Phase: $720k
  9. Virtus.pro: $711k
  10. Four Angry Men: $690.9k

Having achieved many successes in the Call of Duty League, Atlanta Faze could barely make it to our list of the highest-paid teams of 2021 due to the league’s format. The prize money, which is split to keep the league alive throughout the year, will allow us to provide an even more precise roster at the end of the year.

Our list generally deals with teams operating in many fields such as Team Liquid, Gen.G and how they could not be the first in the list. Determining an appropriate strategy rather than operating in many areas will be beneficial for generating the highest revenues of the year. Despite everything, we will evaluate our findings with the list we will make at the end of the year. Because, as we said at the beginning, the biggest tournaments have not been played yet and the biggest teams have not landed on the stage.
