Valorant Spike Nations tournament has come to an end. Portugal became the champion in the tournament in which 10 teams participated. Our representative team from Turkey, on the other hand, ended up losing in the semi-finals of Spike Nations.
As you know, Valorant Spike Nations is a ”charity donation” tournament.
So, the participating teams would donate the prize they won in the tournament to an institution of their choice.
After Turkey lost in the semi-finals, the captain of the team Ferit ”wtcN” Karakaya, announced which institution they will donate the money to. He announced from his Twitter account that; they will donate the $9430 monetary prize they won to AKUT (Search and Rescue Association). It is a really important organization that you may know especially from their effort in the Izmir earthquake which deeply saddened us all.
wtcN stated that he and the esports community is with Izmir and he wishes the earthquake victims a quick recovery.
Also, he did not forget to mention the big support from all social media platforms throughout the tournament, and he thanks to all the supporters.
