VALORANT continues to provide fun experiences with its wide audience. We experienced various agents in this game, which we could not get enough of for a year. The big changes for agents that came in the past few days upset most of us.
After the 3.0 patch, Valorant’s agent tier list has undergone a major change. The latest 3.01 patch, on the other hand, did not change much in this regard, but it fixed the new bugs. Before we move on to our news, let’s take a quick look at the changes that came to the game with the latest patch of VALORANT.
Patch 3.0 was like an over-sized meal, where now we sit and let the food settle. As we hope you can tell from the bug fixes below, we’re still tackling a few issues, and letting the major Patch 3.0 changes play out while we spot some potential future changes.
We encounter a similar S Tier list, but we can still say that it is not exactly the same. While Sage’s wall price went up with the 3.0 patch, many players stopped playing Sage. However, this situation also increased the number of players who could use Sage’s wallbetter. In this way, Sage took its place alongside the agents Cypher, Killjoy and Omen who remained in the S Tier. The newest agent in S Tier is KAY/O. For KAY/O, which could change the direction of the match, many players say the agent is unreasonably overpowered. Especially the fact that he can change the course of the game so easily without the need for any mind games is highly criticized.
The A Tier list, which we expect will change with the next patch, includes the same agents as before. The 3.0 patch brought nerfs to Jett, Sova, and Raze which continues to pull them back. This situation, which especially affects Raze players, causes the agent to fall down through the tier list. The fact that Boombot’s price is 400 has such an impact that if there won’t be any significant change, it seems that we will not see Raze close to S Tier again.
The places where we feel the changes the least are perhaps the A and B Tiers. This tier, where we see Brim, Phoenix, Astra, and Reyna agents, actually has the potential to defeat even S Tier agents with the right players. We see that Reyna players may be disappointed with the agent’s downgrade from A Tier to B.
But unfortunately, she fell down here with the last update. However, we would like to remind you that with the right plays, Reyna’s power should not be underestimated.
C Tier unfortunately ends up being the same as we left. When the Agent Yoru first came out, he had very high expectations for all of us. But then we saw that it was really low without very professional gameplay. Although the agent’s potential is high with his ultimate and other abilities, when compared to other duelists, the agent is just not enough. When we compare him to Sova and Skye the other C tier agent is Breach. Unfortunately, Breach falls short, like Yoru, compared to initiator agents like Skye and Sova.
We hope that after 3.02 Agent Tier list will put a smile on the faces of Breach and Yoru players.
