The Red Bull Home Ground event, which VALORANT fans are eagerly waiting for, starts next month.
The previous iteration of the tournament, which took place in January 2021, was really exciting. Especially because it had a different format from other VALORANT tournaments.
The opposing teams were asked to choose a map and play as their “home” on that map. If one of the teams won the two selected maps, they would qualify directly to the next round with a score of 2-0. However, when the winner could not be determined in this way, the matches would be classically (Bo5).
G2 Esports became the champion of the previous VALORANT Red Bull Home Ground tournament.
VALORANT Red Bull Home Ground tournament will be played between 4-7 November. The matches will be broadcast live on Red Bull’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
Red Bull Home Ground, one of the best major esports tournaments in the world, will meet fans in London this fall. It will be a great tournament with 16 teams participating.
Red Bull Home Ground will be an event where both map selection and strategy are very important.
Teams that are confirmed to be in the tournament:
G2 | SuperMassive Blaze |
Guild | Heretics |
Team Liquid | Anubis |
Vodafone GIANTS | FPX |
Tenstar | Gambit |
Acend | BIG CLAN |
Futbolist | BDS |
Fnatic |
Defeating Team Liquid in the final match last January, G2 is among the first teams to stand out. However, Turkish team SuperMassive, who defeated G2 at VCT Masters Berlin, is also a team to look at for.
The expectations are very high for Acend and its famous player Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek.
