VCT Masters Turkey: Futbolist vs OtherSide Esports!

Yesterday was the second day of VCT Masters Turkey. The teams competing in the qualifying phase, Futbolist and OtherSide Esports came face to face on March 13th at 6 PM in this tournament in which every team compete for great prize and prestige.

First Map: ICEBOX

The match on the map chosen by OtherSide Esports took the audiences’ breathes away. Both the first and the second half ended in a draw. With the great performance of  TheNightChe made OtherSide Esports won the match with 18-16 in overtime. OtherSide Esports brought the match to 1-0. Second Map: ASCENT

Futbolist won overwhelmingly on the second map which they chose. Their decisive and aggressive play-style provided them with a great advantage on the attackers’ side and led them to an easy win with a score of 13-5. They tied the match by winning on Ascent. The score is now 1-1.

Third Map: HAVEN

Both teams had average winning rates on the jointly selected map, Haven. After an even and exciting first half, Futbolist played the perfect game on the attackers’ side and did not even give the opponent a single round in the second half. Futbolist closed the game with a score of 13-5 and won the series 2-1, making it to the next round.

OtherSide Esports lost the match, but did not say goodbye to the tournament altogether. They fell into the losers’ group and are waiting for their opponent. OtherSide Esports needs to recover and fight back.
