Vitality chose Dust2 as the second map. Showing a great team play, Vitality won this map with a score of 16-10. With this result, they were very close to the championship, and they won a psychological advantage.
In the grand final series, the champion was determined on the NIP’s chosen Nuke map. In the last map, where both teams did their best, Vitality won against NIP with a score of 16-13 and became the IEM Winter 2021 champion.
