Xyp9x Extends His Contract For 4 More Years!

Denmark’s top team and former CS:GO major champion Astralis has signed a contract with Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth. The player has been with the team for 5.5 years. “The Clutch Minister” Xyp9x will be with Astralis for another 4 years.

With the return of gla1ve and Xyp9x staying in the team, Astralis will keep its strong roster. For now, they just failed to keep the device in the team. Device, agreed with NIP last April. Lucky, replaced the professional AWP player.

About the new contract, Xyp9x said:

Astralis has been a part of me for so many years. It is no secret that I had other options, but I am truly excited that we have come to an agreement that means I can stay right here, where I feel at home.

Making a statement on the subject, Astralis’ Sports Director Kasper Hvidt said:

Over the years, we have built an extremely strong culture on and around our Counter-Strike team, and Andreas is one of those who has always been willing to challenge the existing.

At the same time, he is unbelievably reliable in terms of performance, and it really takes a lot to knock him off course.

Director Kasper Hvidt didn’t say anything about Magisk and dupreeh, whose contract with the team will expire at the end of the year.

Astralis has almost gathered its old roster. We will see together what they will do in the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major tournament, which will start on October 26.
