MSI 2021 Grupları Belli Oldu!

Bu yılın ilk uluslararası League of Legends etkinliği için zaman gitgide azalıyor. Bölgeler arasındaki güçleri ölçecek ve hangi takımın 2021’de ilk dünya şampiyonluğunu kazandığını gösterecek bir turnuva: MSI 2021.

MSI 2021 (2021 Sezon Ortası Turnuvası), 6-23 Mayıs tarihleri arasında İzlanda’nın Reykjavik kentinde gerçekleşecek. Henüz spesifik olarak hangi bölgeyi hangi takımın temsil edeceği net değil. Fakat, Lol Esports resmi Twitter sayfasından bölgelerin grup aşamasının nasıl olacağı paylaşıldı.

Dünyanın ana bölgelerinden 12 takım, dünya şampiyonluğu unvanı için birbirleriyle savaşacaklar.

  • LCL (Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğu)
  • LCO (Okyanusya)

Grup B

  • LEC (Avrupa)
  • PCS (Güneydoğu Asya)
  • TCL (Türkiye)
  • CBLOL (Brezilya)

Grup C

  • LCK (Korea)
  • LCS (Kuzey Amerika)
  • LLA (Latin Amerika)
  • LJL (Japonya)

Gruplar oluşturulurken, takımların son 2 senedeki performansları baz alındı. Bu performanslarına göre de, 12 takım aşağıdaki şekilde sıralandı.

  1. LPL (Çin), LEC (Avrupa), Korea LCK (Kore)
  2. LCS (Kuzey Amerika), VCS (Vietnam), PCS (Güneydoğu Asya)
  3. Türkiye (TCL), CIS (LCL), LATAM (LLA)
  4. Japonya (LJL), Brezilya (CBLOL), Okyanusya (LCO)

Global Operasyon Direktörü Tom Martell, takımları farklı rekabetçi gruplara rastgele atamak için yazılım kullanarak grup kurasını gerçekleştirdi.

MSI 2021 gruplarının açıklanmasına ek olarak, Riot Games, turnuva ödülleri hakkında da bir açıklama yaptı.

Bu yıl, kazanan takıma verilen nakit ödülün yanı sıra MSI, League of Legends dünya kupası olan Worlds 2021‘de şampiyon bölge için ekstra koltuk garantisi verecek. Buna ek olarak, Riot Games turnuvadan sonra dünyanın en güçlü bölgelerini hesaplayacak. Liderliği kim üstlenirse, ayrıca Worlds’te ek bir koltuk kazanacak. Riot Games’in hesaplamasına göre şampiyon takım en güçlüyse, boşluk ikinci en iyi bölgeye taşınacak.

Türkiye’yi güzel ve rekabetli bir grup aşaması bekliyor. Grupta bulunan Avrupa bölgesi, bu sene turnuvada iddialı olmaya kararlı. Grup maçlarının ardından, ilk 2 sırada bulunacak olan takımlar bir sonraki aşamaya katılım hakkı kazanacak.
