G2 Esports Renews Seasonic Partnership

European esports organization G2 Esports has renewed its partnership with Taiwanese power supply manufacturer Seasonic.

As a result of the partnership, Seasonic became the official sponsor of G2 Esports’ men’s and women’s VALORANT teams. The manufacturer will also continue to operate as the organization’s official power supply partner.

G2 Esports originally partnered with Seasonic in December 2020. As part of the deal, G2 used Seasonic brand power supplies in its PCs.

“Seasonic is the kind of partner that every company wants to have by their side. We’re proud to call them partners and wish nothing but to work with them for many more years.”

Carlos ‘Ocelote’ Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports

2022 has been a busy time for the European esports organization, especially when it comes to partnerships. G2 Esports has signed a deal with hardware brand Kingston FURY, as well as renewed partnerships with Lenovo Legion and AGON by AOC.

In an announcement on the Seasonic website, the company was excited about ‘efforts of G2 Esports recruiting top players to form an all-women’s team’. The partnership will help strengthen Seasonic’s presence as a sponsor in esports.

There are not many details about this partnership. However, the deal will mainly focus on G2’s VALORANT roster, all-women team in particular. Only time will tell how much of an impact Seasonic will have on future G2 content, at least in terms of branding.
