Game Development World Championship Winners Announced!

Espoo, Finland – April 24th, 2023 – The Game Development World Championship 2022 (GDWC), the world’s largest game development competition, concluded on Saturday, April 22nd, with record-breaking participation of over 3,600 games submitted from 145 countries. The competition recognized the most outstanding games in 15 different countries, making it a significant event in the gaming industry.

Game developers from around the world participated in GDWC 2022, showcasing their talent, creativity, and innovation. The competition was fierce and the judges faced the difficult task of selecting winners, but the most outstanding games were awarded. Here are the GDWC 2022 Winners.

The GDWC, along with its sponsors and partners, is proud to provide valuable rewards across multiple categories for GDWC 2022. This year’s prize pool exceeds $120,000 and includes an array of rewards such as cash prizes, software licenses, and top prizes of flights to GDWC’s home country of Finland.

Participants from all over the world have submitted their games to GDWC 2022 making it one of the most diverse and competitive events in the gaming industry welcoming game developers of all backgrounds. The finalists and nominees have been carefully selected, and the rewards specifically designed to recognize and encourage exceptional talent.
