Team Liquid Became Red Bull Home Ground #2 Champion!

The Red Bull Home Ground, which excited VALORANT lovers, have come to an end. European representative Team Liquid won the Red Bull Home Ground. The team became the champion by beating Acend 3-1 in the grand final match.

Red Bull Home Ground had a different format from other VALORANT events. At it, matched teams were asked to choose a map and play as a “home” on that map, hence the name of the tournament. If one of the teams won both on their own map and on the map chosen by their opponent, they would go directly to the round with a score of 2-0. But if these conditions were not met, the matches would be classically (Bo5). With its different and exciting format, the event held in January was won by G2.

Team Liquid started their in group D. The team finished the group in first place and without loosing any series.

Matching with Fnatic in the quarterfinals, Team Liquid won the series with a score of 2-0. Thus, put their name in the semi-final stage. Team Liquid’s opponent in the semi-finals was TENSTAR. They finished the series with a score of 2-0 and made their way to the grand finals.

The Red Bull Home Ground, which took place between 4-7 November, witnessed some great action. Especially in the grand finale, there was a big rivalry between ScreaM and cNed. In the end, Team Liquid put €20,000 in their bag. Acend, who was shown as the favorite, completed the events in the second place and earned €10,000.
