Los Angeles–based esports organization 100 Thieves has announced that it has signed the 31-year-old Norwegian rifler, rain.

The Norwegian rifler has found himself a new destination after ten years. Having recently parted ways with FaZe and been benched following jcobbb’s arrival, rain will now become one of the core players of 100 Thieves as the organization reinvests in CS2.

100 Thieves had signaled in recent weeks that it would re-enter Counter-Strike 2. According to OverDrive’s sources and statements, the American organization was expected to acquire the core of GamerLegion. Shortly after, however, the GL CEO stated that no such discussions had taken place.

rain is leaving FaZe after nearly ten years, having joined the team back in January 2016. During his decade with FaZe, he made the HLTV Top 20 rankings three times and won one Major trophy. In addition, he secured four LAN MVP awards.

EVP Players of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Announced!

0
PGL Masters Bucharest 2025'in EVP Oyuncuları Belli Oldu!

The EVP players and best five lineup of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 have been revealed — with three Aurora players making the list.

MAJ3R earned his place among the best five after finally fulfilling his promise to win the trophy, while XANTARES was awarded the MVP title.

XANTARES Played Like a Star and Took the MVP Award

Following his dominant performance, XANTARES rightfully earned the MVP award.
Our star player competed in 23 maps throughout the tournament, averaging a 1.27 rating. His outstanding 1.38 rating performance in the grand final left fans in awe.

Wicadia Becomes the Team’s Second Star

Another standout from Aurora was Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalçın, who delivered crucial impact just behind XANTARES. The young talent played 23 maps and finished with a 1.17 rating, ranking 7th overall. Considering only the players who reached the playoffs, he was easily among the top three.

Following Wicadia was GamerLegion’s PR, who achieved a 1.25 rating and ranked third. Then came our final opponent Legacy’s player saadzin, who earned a 1.37 rating and took fourth place.
xfl0ud’s teammate nilo rounded out the list in fifth place and was also awarded an EVP mention.

xfl0ud Reacts to Being Left Out of the EVP List

Despite carrying his team and maintaining one of the highest ratings in the tournament, xfl0ud was not included in the EVP lineup, which sparked criticism.
HLTV explained that his overall rating dropped when excluding the NIP series — a reasoning the player publicly disagreed with.

Three Turkish Players in the All-Star Lineup!

Unsurprisingly, the first name in the All-Star lineup was the tournament MVP, XANTARES. Dominating the opener role, he ranked first with a noticeable lead over other competitors.

In the IGL role, another Turkish representative, MAJ3R, was selected for his tactical brilliance and impactful leadership throughout the event. His performance on the T sides was unmatched on the road to the championship.

Our young star Wicadia was chosen as the best closer thanks to his consistent and clutch plays following XANTARES’ lead.

The All-Star AWP player was saadzin, while n1ssim was selected as the best anchor.

The Brightest Stars of 2025

With his MVP title, XANTARES became the fourth most-awarded player of 2025 — surpassing NiKo.

Aurora, PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Şampiyonu Oldu!-esportimes

Aurora have emerged victorious at the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Grand Final, defeating Legacy 3-2 to claim the championship title.

Despite some mid-series mistakes, Aurora finally captured the long-awaited Tier-1 trophy they had been chasing for so long. The Turkish representatives overcame Legacy 3-2 in the Grand Final, putting an end to their championship drought.

This victory not only boosted Aurora’s confidence ahead of the Budapest Major but also reignited the excitement among their fans.

XANTARES Played Like Poetry and Became MVP!

Aurora started strong on their map pick, Dust II, winning the pistol round but struggled midway through the map. Despite back-and-forth rounds, they managed to secure victory with a comeback from 7-2 down, closing out the map 13-11 on CT side. XANTARES was unstoppable with 24 kills, +9.66% swing, and a 1.95 rating.

Moving on to Mirage, Aurora once again began with a 3-0 lead. Although Legacy responded with five consecutive rounds, Aurora kept their composure and finished the first half ahead, maintaining psychological control of the game. With Wicadia’s aggressive entries and XANTARES’s flawless play, Aurora took a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Just when everything seemed over, Aurora faltered, and Legacy capitalized on it. With outstanding performances on Train and disciplined gameplay on Inferno, Legacy tied the series 2-2.

Everything came down to the final map — Nuke. Aurora entered as the favorites, but the reverse sweep attempt from Legacy had shaken their mental state.

Starting on T-side, Aurora closed the first half with a 7-5 lead. Once they switched to CT, Legacy took control, stringing together five straight rounds to even the score. However, critical kills and woxic’s AWP impact helped Aurora regain their footing. From 11-8 down, the Turkish squad rallied with five consecutive rounds, sealing the map 13-11 and securing the championship.

Aurora’s Next Stop: The Major!

With the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 trophy in hand, Aurora earned $200,000 in prize money and 25 VRS points, placing them at #5 in the global rankings.
This triumph gives them huge momentum heading into the Budapest Major, with their fans fully behind them.

Aurora Advances to the Playoffs at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025!

Aurora, PGL Masters Bucharest 2025'te Playoff Aşamasına Yükseldi!

Our representative Aurora has secured a spot in the playoffs at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 after defeating Astralis 2-1 in the 2:2 stage.

Aurora triumphed over Astralis, who were missing dev1ce, with a 2-1 victory to qualify for the playoffs. In his absence, coach ruggah stepped in to play for Astralis, but the 37-year-old Dane failed to make an impact, which increased Aurora’s chances of advancing.

dev1ce was sidelined due to food poisoning and couldn’t play against Aurora. The issue was announced shortly before the match by both PGL and Astralis. dev1ce later released a statement during the match to update fans about his condition.

Just to clarify I’m having a food poisoning and drove to the studio with the team but I haven’t stopped vomiting yet. Vamos ruggah and thanks to the medical professionals who are here at PGL providing all tools to recover quickly

Aurora Struggled Against Astralis Without dev1ce!

The series began on Nuke, where Aurora failed to perform as expected. Despite missing a key player, Astralis dominated the map and crushed Aurora on the CT side. Magisk’s incredible performance carried Astralis to victory, with the team showing great morale and energy throughout the match.

The second map, Train, turned out to be a lucky one for our representative. Although Aurora fell behind 5-0 early on, they managed to recover and ended the first half 5-7. On the CT side, Wicadia’s outstanding play sparked a comeback as Aurora only dropped one round, closing the map 13-8. Wicadia finished with a 1.86 rating, keeping his team alive in the series.

The decider, Mirage, had fans worried since Aurora has historically struggled on the map. Despite losing the pistol round, the team managed to stay composed. Although their CT side wasn’t as strong as hoped, Aurora kept things even and carried momentum into the T side. Maintaining control, Aurora nearly lost grip toward the end but managed to close it out. woxic’s deadly AWP and XANTARES’s smart plays sealed the victory. woxic finished with a 1.66 rating, while XANTARES posted a 1.40 rating.

Aurora’s first playoff opponent will be B8. The match is scheduled for Friday, October 31, at 11:00 AM.

Aurora Crushed by HEROIC!

0
Aurora HEROIC Karşısında Hezimete Uğradı!

Our representative Aurora suffered a heavy 2-0 defeat against HEROIC in the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Group Stage.

After a strong start to the tournament, Aurora hit the HEROIC wall. Having eliminated fnatic and Liquid earlier, the team couldn’t keep up against xfl0ud’s HEROIC. The first map ended with a shocking 4-13 scoreline, and although Aurora tried to stay in the game on Inferno, HEROIC sealed the deal with confidence.

xfl0ud delivered an exceptional performance for his team — posting a 1.25 rating and +2.86% swing on Mirage, and 1.38 rating with +4.48% swing on Inferno, becoming the top fragger. His gameplay was praised by fans and analysts alike.

Aurora Starts Fast, Finishes Fast!

Despite criticism toward MAJ3R for his recent low frag counts, he performed decently this time — yet Aurora couldn’t find its rhythm. Poor showings from XANTARES and woxic ultimately led to the defeat.

Although the playoff stage isn’t entirely out of reach for Aurora, fans are beginning to express frustration. Following a disappointing run at the TP World Championship — where they were one of the top favorites — this loss at Masters Bucharest 2025 raised new doubts among supporters.

xfl0ud’s HEROIC Secures Playoff Spot!

xfl0ud’s HEROIC officially clinched a playoff berth after defeating Aurora. The Danish organization beat NIP, BetBoom, and Aurora to secure their spot and now await their next opponent.

Beyond HEROIC’s qualification, xfl0ud’s phenomenal form has been a major highlight for Turkish fans. Across six maps, he’s averaging a 1.43 rating, making him the second-best player of the tournament — just behind Astralis’ blameF, who sits at 1.61.

We Interviewed Mavera!

0
Mavera ile Röportaj Yaptık!

We had the chance to sit down with Mavera, the current coach of S2G Esports, who previously worked with Oxygen, Fire Flux, and Galakticos.

In our conversation, S2G’s coach Mavera talked about his life, career, his ongoing journey with S2G, and shared his thoughts on the Turkish VALORANT scene. It turned out to be a great interview for esports fans.

Hello Mavera, first of all, I’d like to talk a bit about you. How’s life and your career going?
Thank you. Everything’s going well — as usual, it’s quite busy. Every day is spent trying to improve both myself and my players.

As someone who has worked with Turkish teams for a long time, what would you say are the best and worst traits of Turkish players compared to foreign ones?
The best part is that Turkish players are both talented and seem to have stronger reasons to succeed. But honestly, that’s also their biggest weakness. Many young players are so determined to “make it” that they crash hard when faced with setbacks. In competitive sports, winning and losing are both part of the game. Talent and hard work matter, of course, but the psychological side is even more important than it looks from the outside.

Can you tell us a bit about how things are going with S2G lately? Is everything as you hoped?
During the offseason, we reorganized together with S2G management. We’re focusing more on youth development and the academy. Our main goal is to bring new young talents into the ecosystem. Instead of chasing short-term success, we’ve aligned on a long-term project vision.
We’ve been giving many young players opportunities — over a hundred so far. Of course, we can’t work with all of them, but at least they got to experience what a professional tryout is like. We met great people along the way, and this is an area that deserves even more investment.

In VALORANT, compared to CS, younger players seem to find opportunities and success more easily. Why do you think that is?
I think it’s easier to rise in VALORANT. Young players have better adaptability and can sustain high-effort work for longer. Maybe it’s in our genes, but I truly believe Turkey is an FPS country. We have a gold mine, but we’re not digging it. What we need to do is extract and refine these talents properly — yet we’re too lazy to even swing the pickaxe.

Before S2G, did you feel a special bond with any of the teams you worked with?
Honestly, it’s hard to choose. I always try to connect with every organization I’ve worked with. I’m actually a software engineer, but I’m still actively working in the esports industry because I’m passionate about it. And when you love what you do, it’s only natural to care about the people who contribute to it — both the good and the bad ones.

What are your thoughts on the “lobbying” issue in Turkish esports?
I don’t have a positive opinion about it. It’s something we urgently need to get rid of. Decision-makers must take action. People need to step out of their comfort zones and give opportunities to those who truly deserve them. Is it easy? No. Do I have hope? Not much. But do I still try my best for it? Absolutely.

Before S2G, you worked with women’s teams at both Fire Flux and DVM. Which was easier to work with — men’s or women’s teams? What were the main differences?
They were different experiences. At Fire Flux, I only helped the women’s team part-time, but at DVM, I coached an international women’s team for the first time — and it was a great experience.
To be honest, the downside was that the league had less recognition and the in-game level was lower compared to men’s VALORANT. Other than that, working with women was easier. It was a process where I both learned and taught a lot. Those girls were so professional and hardworking that they could set an example for men’s teams. They came to practice every day eager to improve. I hope to see more attention and investment in that side of esports.

Is there something you always emphasize during team practice? What do you pay the most attention to?
Discipline. Not just in attitude, but in everything — both in and out of the game. It’s one of the things I never compromise on. Everyone’s time is valuable, so each team member has to give their best. It’s also my responsibility to ensure that happens. In my view, discipline is the first step toward professionalism in competitive team sports.

Senzu Benched by The MongolZ!

0
Senzu, MongolZ Tarafından Yedeğe Çekildi!

19-year-old Mongolian AWPer Senzu has been shockingly benched by The MongolZ organization!

The MongolZ announced earlier this evening that their 19-year-old player, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkbold, has been moved from the active roster to the bench. The announcement came on Wednesday evening, October 22.

This unexpected change comes at a time when the team has been performing exceptionally well, achieving consecutive successes. The Mongolian squad recently won the Esports World Cup and reached the final stages of the BLAST Bounty and FISSURE Playground 2 tournaments.

Today, we made the difficult decision to move Senzu to the bench. Over the past years, Senzu and the boys have together written a new chapter in Mongolian esports, showcasing world class talent, dedication, and determination. This decision was made after careful discussions between players and management. We deeply appreciate our fans’ continued support and respect for the team as we move forward. Senzu remains an exceptional player, and we wish him nothing but success in the next chapter of his career.

This marks the first roster change since Senzu joined the team. The young player, who joined in early September 2023, played a key role in the team’s success and posted a 1.11 rating, making him one of the team’s top performers.

idk what to say it wasnt sudden decision it feels like im leaving my home we made a lot of memories together i wish all the best things for my beloved ones my apologies to the ones who support us sorry for bad news if u guys didnt give me this great opportunity there wouldn’t todays me i just wanna say thanks for everything so sorry for everything.
