Vitality, ESL Pro League Season 22 Şampiyonu Oldu!

Vitality have claimed the ESL Pro League Season 22 title after sweeping Falcons 3-0 in the grand final — finally ending their long-awaited trophy drought!

The ESL Pro League Season 22, held in Stockholm, Switzerland, concluded with a massive grand final clash between the Arab powerhouse Falcons and the French giants Vitality. After the addition of kyousuke, Falcons found their form and reached the final in pursuit of their second title. Standing in their way was Vitality — who had gone four months without a trophy since their last triumph at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

In the grand final, Vitality delivered a flawless 3-0 performance, completely dismantling m0NESY’s Falcons.

flamEZ’TALITY! 🔥

The man of the moment was undoubtedly flameZ. The Israeli rifler was on fire, posting a 1.42 rating on Train and a 1.71 on Inferno, dominating both maps single-handedly. On the final map, Dust II, he shone once again with a 1.65 rating, just behind mezii, and was rightfully named the MVP of the Grand Final.

Despite his incredible showing in the final, flameZ did not win the tournament MVP award — which instead went to his opponent, m0NESY.

And truth be told, m0NESY absolutely earned it: across 15 maps, he achieved a 1.38 rating, with his closest competitor being FaZe’s new signing Twistzz at 1.33. Interestingly, flameZ did not even make the overall top 10.

Vitality Strike 2: Their 8th Trophy of 2025! 🏆

Without a doubt, Vitality have dominated 2025. They won seven titles in the first half of the year, entered the second half without a trophy, and finally broke their streak with this ESL Pro League victory — ending their semifinal misfortune in style.

We want to equal the legendary Astralis’ 2018 record by winning 10 trophies this year.

Aurora bids farewell to ESL Pro League Season 22!

0
Aurora, ESL Pro Lig Sezon 22'ye Veda Etti!

Our representative Aurora has been eliminated from ESL Pro League Season 22 after losing to FaZe in the 2-2 decider match, failing to secure a playoff spot.

Both teams entered the tournament on shaky footing, but FaZe—who reinstated rain to the roster after jcobbb’s departure due to VRS eligibility issues—managed to recover and claim the final playoff ticket.

Aurora, on the other hand, faced numerous challenges throughout the tournament. Despite starting several maps strongly, the team repeatedly failed to close them out. Following a poor performance against NAVI and a disappointing showing versus FURIA, hopes were high for redemption—but it never came.

FaZe’s Rough Start Turns Into a Playoff Breakthrough

After forfeiting their opening match due to roster issues, FaZe found themselves in a dire position. They later suffered a 0-1 loss to 3DMAX, pushing them to the brink of elimination. However, back-to-back victories over Astralis and Inner Circle helped them stay alive and set up a decisive 2-2 match against Aurora.

Aurora entered the matchup as the statistical favorite despite recent struggles. The team started strong on Mirage, but FaZe’s flawless play on the T side turned the tide. Aurora managed only one round after the side switch, losing the map 13-8.

On Train, Aurora delivered an unexpected dominant performance. After falling behind 0-2, they strung together 10 consecutive rounds, taking psychological control of the match. They went on to shut FaZe out completely on CT side, securing a stunning 13-2 victory.

Everything came down to Dust II. While Aurora is known for their strength on the map, luck and timing were not on their side this time. Despite a solid effort, FaZe’s composure and precision—particularly from frozen, broky, and Twistzz—proved decisive. jottAAA’s 1.62 rating was impressive, but ultimately not enough.

After a 13-10 defeat on Dust II, Aurora’s ESL Pro League journey came to an end.

Aurora Fans Express Frustration After Disappointing Exit

Fans voiced their frustration following the loss, particularly criticizing the team’s inability to capitalize on favorable matchups. Many blamed captain MAJ3R, questioning his strategies and leadership at the top level.

Others, however, defended the veteran, crediting him for leading the team to this stage in the first place.

Following the elimination, MAJ3R responded emotionally on social media, addressing the criticism directed toward him.

To all my fans — whether you love me or not, I’m aware that our recent results have been disappointing. For a long time, we’ve been trying to achieve something great for our country. I know you’ve gotten used to seeing better from us, so I understand your frustration when things don’t go well.
I’m proud of my team; no matter the circumstances, we always give our best. We’re truly going through a tough period right now. Whether you choose to stand behind us or against us, that’s your choice — and I respect that.
To everyone sending me kind and positive messages — may God return that positivity to you many times over in your own lives. I love you all.
And to those who insult us — in other words, me — it’s okay. One day, you’ll understand things better from a different perspective. May God protect you all.

Wicadia Gives an Interview During ESL Pro League!

Wicadia ESL Pro Lig Sürecinde Röportaj Verdi!

Aurora’s young star, Wicadia, spoke to HLTV while Aurora’s ESL Pro League Season 22 journey was ongoing.

Aurora began their Pro League campaign with a loss to NAVI, followed by a 2-1 victory over Astralis. After this performance, the spotlight turned to young star Wicadia. The rising talent shared insights about Aurora’s recent period and discussed the team’s preparation process.

Congratulations, you beat Astralis. It was a bit back-and-forth, you went to a third map, can you tell me about getting that win after losing yesterday?

Lately we are not performing so well individually, but today we fought as a team and managed to win even though we aren’t playing our best. So I’m happy.

Why do you think you’re not playing your best?

I don’t know, the aiming, the firepower is not at its usual level yet, so we’re getting a bit troubled. But it’s fine. I think tomorrow or the day after, we can fix it.

You’ve had some time off since FISSURE, you’ve had a bit more of a break from the hectic schedule from the first half of the year. Has that helped you, or is it maybe contributing a bit to not being as sharp as before?

We played from home, it was most likely 60ms [ping] and stuff, so it wasn’t the best for us. But it’s fine.

Overall we are good, but at FISSURE we threw the Liquid game

Wicadia

You started this half of the season pretty strong, you had that second place at EWC, but then you finished 5-8th at FISSURE. How do you feel the team is doing in terms of your overall form in this half of the year?

Overall we are good, but at FISSURE we threw the Liquid game I think. We could do better, it’s just that we’re feeling bad about. The rest is good.

Is there something in particular you feel like you threw with that Liquid game?

On that day, I don’t know, all of us were off and we couldn’t just be aware of what is happening and that kind of stuff.

You said practice has been a bit rough because of the 60ms ping. Overall, how would you say it went in the lead-up to EPL?

Not good, not so bad also. It was in the middle or something.

How come?

We had some good tactics and stuff, preparation. When you have 60ms you should shoot hard a bit, but with tactics it can be more easy for you, so it was in the middle.

In terms of where Aurora is at now: It’s been really hard to nail down where you’ll peak, whether you’ll win a title and whatnot. Where do you feel like you’re at?

Honestly, I don’t even know that (laughs). Let’s see.

Is there something you could say you’re missing that you’ve talked about needing to change, to get over the line on that end?

I think we should start the games better. Most of the games we’re losing pistol after the force and stuff, like we’re losing three rounds at the start of the game. So I think we can fix that, and also at the beginning of the game, we’re not so aware of everything. I think we can fix those two, and we’re good.

You lost to NAVI yesterday, you beat Astralis today. You’re 1-1 now, so going into tomorrow, has anything changed, any objectives changed or were there conversations you had between today and yesterday?

Yes, we changed some stuff in our game plan, and also about our mentality. Yesterday it wasn’t that good, but today we fought and I think that’s why we won.

What did you change about your mentality?

Like when we lose some kind of stupid rounds, like a 5v2 which we also lost on Train today. [Yesterday] we hadn’t had a good vibe, but today we lost that and we just said, ‘Guys, that’s fine, keep going,’ and that kind of stuff, so we won.

FaZe Withdraws from ESL Pro League Match Due to Rule Violation!

0
FaZe, Kural Sebebiyle Pro Lig Maçından Çekildi!

FaZe Clan has withdrawn from their ESL Pro League Season 22 match against G2 due to ESL rule restrictions!

Just a few hours before their opening match, FaZe Clan announced that they would forfeit their series against G2. The decision reportedly stemmed from internal disagreements with ESL and uncertainty regarding which players were eligible to compete in the match.

Neither the tournament organizer nor FaZe have issued an official statement regarding the situation. However, shortly after the announcement, reports emerged that rain had been reinstated to the active roster in place of jcobbb.

The withdrawal came after FaZe decided to replace Håvard “rain” Nygaard with Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, which resulted in the team no longer meeting the required Valve Regional Standings (VRS) core roster rules.

FaZe’s Withdrawal Reason: VRS Core Violation

July 7th VRS Roster:

  • 🇩🇰 Denmark – karrigan
  • 🇸🇰 Slovakia – frozen
  • 🇺🇦 Ukraine – s1mple
  • 🇺🇸 USA – EliGE
  • 🇳🇴 Norway – rain

Current Active Roster:

  • 🇩🇰 Denmark – karrigan
  • 🇸🇰 Slovakia – frozen
  • 🇱🇻 Latvia – broky
  • 🇵🇱 Poland – jcobbb
  • 🇨🇦 Canada – Twistzz

Relevant ESL Rules:

📜 ESL Pro Tour CS General Rules, Section 2.28:

“Teams invited through the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) must retain at least three of the five core players listed on the roster at the time of the invitation.”

📜 ESL Pro Tour CS Roster Restrictions, Section 2.4:

“When a participant first enters a qualifier, they must maintain the majority of that lineup until the main event concludes — covering all qualifiers and stages.
This rule prevents organizations from overhauling unsuccessful rosters in an attempt to re-enter the event.”

This restriction also applies to directly invited teams, whose roster at the time of the invitation is considered their “core roster.” Therefore, even invited teams are treated as if they had participated through qualifiers.

Aurora, NAVI Ekibine Karşı Mağlup Olarak Pro Lig'e Mağlup Başladı!

Our representative Aurora started ESL Pro League Season 22 with a loss, falling 2-0 to NAVI in their opening match.

Aurora entered the series as the favorite but was defeated by the Ukrainian squad NAVI, who had been struggling with form for quite some time. Despite leading at halftime on both maps, Aurora couldn’t close them out in their favor.

The standout performer for Aurora was the young talent jottAAA, who put up the strongest resistance against NAVI’s makazze. Samet “jottAAA” Köklü finished the match with a 1.27 rating, the highest on the team.

On the NAVI side, b1t was one of the key players of the match, delivering clutch plays at crucial moments to keep his team alive. He finished the series with 92.7 ADR and a 1.35 rating.

FaZe, 10 Yılın Ardından rain ile Yollarını Ayırıyor!

FaZe Clan has announced the departure of their 31-year-old veteran Norwegian rifler, rain, who has been moved to the bench.

After more than a decade with the team, Håvard “rain” Nygaard has officially been placed on the inactive roster. This move finalizes the return of Canadian star Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, who rejoined FaZe just days ago in a trade involving EliGe.

During his time with FaZe, rain secured 19 major trophies, including the 2022 Antwerp Major and the Intel Grand Slam. He was named MVP of four tournaments (most notably Antwerp) and appeared three times in the HLTV Top 20, with his latest placement being 13th in 2022.

After an unforgettable 10 years, it’s time to say goodbye to FaZe Clan.
Even though FaZe has decided to move in a different direction, I’m extremely proud of what we have accomplished together over the past decade.
I want to thank my former and current teammates for the countless memories, the incredible matches, and the trophies we lifted. It has been an honor to play alongside some of the most talented players in this game.
I’m deeply grateful to the organization for giving me the opportunity to represent FaZe, and to everyone who believed in me. And to all the fans who have supported me and cheered the loudest every time — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

FUT, Exort The Proving Grounds S4 Şampiyonu Oldu!

FUT defeated ENCE 2-0 in the Exort Proving Grounds S4 Grand Final to claim the championship title and secure $41,000.

Thanks to the VRS points gained, the tournament was particularly valuable for FUT, who entered the event directly in the playoffs as an invited team.

They first faced Spirit Academy in the Round of 16 and secured a clean 2-0 victory. Their next opponent was Partizan, where FUT put up a strong performance and, aside from a narrow loss in overtime on Dust II, had no real setbacks. In the semifinals, they faced the Russian squad Betera, who failed to deliver against FUT, allowing our representatives to move straight into the Grand Final.

In the Grand Final, FUT went up against the Finnish team ENCE, who had battled their way through tough 2-1 victories against Sangal, SAW, and fnatic. The final was hard-fought and intense for both sides. The first map, Dust II—ENCE’s pick—started evenly, but FUT’s dominant T-side performance secured them the win. On Mirage, FUT stayed ahead in both halves despite close scorelines, ultimately sealing the championship.

The standout player for FUT was lauNX, who posted a 1.26 rating, +4.44% Swing, and 62.00 ADR, driving his team to the title.
