Our representative Aurora secured a 13-6 victory against M80 in their opening match at the Starladder Budapest Major 2025, moving to a 1-0 record in the tournament.
Entering Stage 2 as favorites, Aurora made no mistakes against M80, who had arrived from Stage 1 with a perfect 3-0 record. They secured the win powered by Wicadia’s impressive 117.7 ADR performance.
Although M80 started the fight with a 3-0 round streak, our representative managed to stay in the game. We successfully finished the first half on the CT side of Dust II with a 7-5 lead.
On the T side, we displayed a more mature gameplay. We denied our opponent any room to breathe, and by securing a 5-round streak, we closed out the match 13-6.
Our star player Wicadia dominated the match with a massive 2.12 rating, followed closely by woxic with a 1.70 rating. Our representative, who typically struggles with luck in Bo1 stages, finally broke the curse.
