BBL Esports’ General Manager Özgür “root” Alagül stated during a live stream that they will investigate the situation:

It doesn’t matter if the players or streamers within our organization, if anyone is in it, we will investigate. If there is a really troublesome situation, the necessary will be done.

The player of the successful Turkish esports team Fire Flux Esports, lurzy0y0, said that he has not been streaming regularly for 1.5 years. Responding to the Tweet that came to him, the professional player also stated that he was faced with illegal bits every time he opened the stream.

What Is a Bit Scam?

Some scammers who steal credit cards reach out to Twitch streamers. They tell them that they will donate bits with a stolen credit card. The donation is made to the streamer, and then the Twitch streamer returns a certain portion of this money to the credit card thief. Thus, both parties make money.
