As part of the Twitch bit scam investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, 44 people were detained today. The operations that took place in 11 different cities were on the agenda of the country.
After the leak of Twitch revenues, we saw that some small streamers made a lot of income. Thanks to the community’s in-depth research of these shared documents, international scammers’ networks have been exposed. Afterward, some streamers confessed to their crimes, while others said they didn’t know. We saw that there has been enough data and Prosecutors have taken action.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Anti-Cyber Crime Unit worked jointly in the operations launched under the name of “unfair gain“. Operations took place in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Muğla, Aydın, Eskisehir, Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Manisa, and Denizli.
40 people detained in the simultaneous operation were taken to the Istanbul Security Directorate for questioning. The personal belongings of the suspects are being examined. The search continues for the remaining 4 people.
