The new PUBG event to be organized by DreamHack has been announced. Under the name DreamHack PUBG Showdown Winter, there will be 2 separate tournaments held in the America and Europe regions. The tournament with a total prize pool of 45,000 $ begins!
DreamHack has kept its silence in the PUBG stage since the DreamHack Fall Showdown event until now. Today, DreamHack has announced its new PUBG tournament.
DreamHack PUBG Showdown Winter European Region
The dates of the new event were released by Dreamhack. The DH PUBG Showdown Winter EU Region will begin with open qualifiers on the 30th of November. The top 16 teams of the open qualifiers, which will end on 3rd December, will participate in the next stage of the tournament, closed qualifiers.
The closed qualifiers between 16 teams will take place on December 7-8. As a result of 12 matches to be played over 2 days, the best 7 teams will advance to Stage 2.
Stage 2 will have in total 24 teams along with 17 invited teams and it will be held on December 11-13. As a result of 18 matches to be played over three days, the most successful 14 teams will advance to the DH PUBG Showdown Winter Finals, which will take place on December 18-20.
The 16 teams that will take part in the DH PUBG Showdown Winter Finals will play a total of 18 matches over three days. Team Liquid and TSM are expected to be directly invited to the finals.
DH PUBG Showdown Winter Europe Region Prize Pool;

DreamHack PUBG Showdown Winter America Region
DH PUBG also announced the Americas region, which covers Latin America and North America regions. The tournament has a prize pool of $15,000.
