Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier has made an announcement stating that he is no longer a part of the active roster of the Falcons and has been moved to the bench, marking the end of a 10-month partnership between him and the organization.
This news comes amidst rumors of significant changes during the off-season for the Falcons. According to HLTV, the Saudi Arabian team has already secured the signings of Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak and Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea, and they are also actively pursuing Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas to fill the gap left by misutaaa’s benching.
Back in August 2022, misutaaa joined the Falcons alongside Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, with the 20-year-old French player aiming to make a comeback to the top-tier stage after being removed from Vitality earlier that month.
However, misutaaa‘s time with the Falcons did not go entirely as planned. The French team failed to secure spots at the IEM Rio and BLAST.tv Paris Majors, finishing in 9th-11th place in both tournaments’ Regional Major Rankings. They narrowly avoided relegation in the ESL Challenger League, ending up in the 13th-16th position.
The Falcons‘ campaign for the French Major was particularly disappointing. Initially, they had a promising 2-1 record and were just one best-of-three away from qualifying for the Major on home soil. Unfortunately, three consecutive losses and an unsuccessful attempt through the Last Chance Qualifier shattered their hopes of participating in the prestigious event.
Despite the team’s challenges, misutaaa delivered impressive individual performances during his time with the Falcons. He leaves the starting roster with a noteworthy rating of 1.04 over 167 maps, making him the second-best performer among the five players who attended the BLAST.tv Paris Major RMR.
Here is the current roster of the Falcons:
- Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt
- Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro
- Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak
- Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea
- Steeve “Ozstrik3r” Flavigni (coach)
- Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle (benched)
- Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier (benched)
