Former professional CS:GO player, Mike “shroud” Grzesiek dispraised the game that made him famous, and told that he prefers Valorant to CS:GO. He literally spoke ill about CS:GO while praising the game’s biggest rival, Valorant. He also told that he would prefer Valorant rather than CS:GO. And he stated the main reason as the CS:GO’s lacking anti-cheat system.
Fighting against the cheaters is an important stance for games that even contains a bit of competitiveness. Especially, for the games like CS:GO, Valorant, and R6Siege, the games that a little mistake can make you lose a game. But, even fully focusing on that, sometimes the devs couldn’t prevent the cheaters. So, the players will start to complain about it on different platforms, and shroud, too, joined those players while praising Valorant.
As a streamer and content creator, shroud plays games much more times than us, and it’s totally true to say that he faced cheaters more than us. While shroud playing Valorant on a stream, a viewer told him that he should play CS:GO instead of Valorant. The streamer laughed and sarcastically told that it was a funny joke.

I’d love to play CS:GO if it was f****** good. The beauty of Valorant is its accessibility. You jump in, you play, you’re confident, you go, have a good time or a bad time. But at least you’d know you are not gonna get f****** cheated. Jesus, every single time you play CS, aimbot, spinbot, wallhacks. It’s like they have got all, dude. They are teleporting around and s***, it’s f****** crazy. F****** garbage, man. Garbage.
I love CS, I love it, I’d love to play it. I just can’t accept the fact that I know I’m gonna jump in and just get cheated. Every single f****** time.

“You Don’t Need Third Parties For Valorant”
After that, another viewer suggested that he can use FACEIT. Then shroud continues his rant from the third parties.
That’s my point, the fact that you have to use third party. What makes this game (Valorant) better than CS is that you jump in, you press play, you’re good. That’s it, that’s all you do. In CS, if you are a newcomer, how are you supposed to know about FACEIT, any of those things. And even if you do know about them, how are you supposed to trust them? The only people you’ll trust are the people behind the game. You wanna jump into their servers and press play, and you are good to go. You can’t do that in CS, because it’s garbage. I wish it wasn’t, but it is. That’s why I was playing Valorant, it’s just easy.

If they had good servers, if they had a good anti-cheat. That’s enough, literally that’s enough to just be happy to press play in matchmaking. Solid servers and solid anti-cheat.

Actually, it’s possible to see these kinds of cheats in Valorant, but it’s a fact that we can’t see many cheaters in Valorant compared to CS:GO that much. CS:GO always has a special place in the people’s heart, especially if you started your FPS journey with it. It’s really sad to see CS:GO in this state. I completely agree on shroud about CS:GO’s current state. If they improve their servers and anti-cheat system, the brighter days of CS:GO will come.
