Big news! Microsoft has finally confirmed that some of the games released by Bethesda and Zenimax Studios shall be exclusive to Xbox and PC. But, we don’t know which titles going to be exclusive.
This is the next step in building an industry-leading first-party studio team, a commitment we have to our Xbox community. With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players.
As I mentioned, we do not know which games shall be exclusive. Phil Spencer was super secretive about it. Perhaps, highly anticipated games like Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 going to be exclusive for Xbox and PC. That might be really bad for the Playstation fans. Then again, these all just speculations and rumors.
Also, I would like to remind you again that Microsoft now owns Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, Zenimax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameswork, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studion. As a huge Dishonored and Prey fan, seeing Arkane Studios on the list gave me the shivers!
Personally, I’m pretty stoked! I’m super curious about what Bethesda and Microsoft will bring to gamers. 2021 is going to be a blast for gamers.
