A former Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) official Alexei “Yarabeu” Kurlov revealed the CS:GO players were accused of match-fixing or the use of radar hack. The accusations were made during a Twitch podcast stream held by commentator Konstantin “LENINIW” Sivko, which also featured CS:GO player Vladyslav “bondik” Nechyporchuk.
Yarabeu claims that there is a well-established match-fixing system in both the top CSGO tournaments in Asia and lower-tier tournaments in the CIS region. Familiar names such as Vladimir “Woro2k” Veletnyuk, Ramazan “Ramz1k” Bashizov, Dmitry “Dima” Bandurka, Vladislav “FinigaN” Usov, Christian “REDSTAR” Pironkov and Igor “w0nderful” Zhdanov have been accused of fixing matches. AWPer Abdul “degster” Hasanov was also mentioned in the scandal.
After the broadcast, some of the players mentioned reacted to the accusations. The OG player “degster“ denied the claim through his Telegram channel. Dmitriy “Dima” Bandurka also denied being involved in match-fixing, “I’ve never done match-fixing, I didn’t use radar, I don’t have a contract, my conscience is completely clear. I’ve always played, and I continue to play fairly, doing my best.”.
