Digital Athletics, one of the successful Turkish organizations founded in 2018, made a statement about the Twitch Bit Scam controversy. The organization stated the following in a statement on its official Twitter account:
Each of our players or streamers, who are thought to have illegally gained profit from streaming platforms, were asked to defend themselves.
These defenses will be taken in secret within the team. The named players or streamers have been excluded from the team.
There was no statement or sanction from the Twitch platform regarding the Bit Scam controversy.
They also stated that the organization is not the decision-maker and that they will carefully follow the judicial process. They said that if no decision is taken from game companies or streaming platforms within 1 year, they will stick to their decision.
As a part of the esport industry, we will always stick to ethical and legal rules. Our aim is to always present a transparent and clean administration.
I congratulate Digital Athletics for their transparent attitude. Fans of the team also started to send messages of support.
