Fnatic has officially announced the signing of Valentin “poizon” Vasilev who has been a stand-in for the team since March. The Bulgarian AWPer joined the squad on a trial basis, the length of which is unknown at this time. The Swedish-based organization also revealed Peppe “Peppzor” Borak, a member of the team’s academy, will also serve as a stand-in for the next few months. Like poizon, he has been representing the Fnatic squad on a temporary basis since March of this year.
After the surprise departure of Owen “smooya” Butterfield and the transfer of Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin to NIP, the Bulgarian’s arrival will be the first step in stabilizing the squad. Over the previous month, the European squad has been obliged to deploy a variety of stand-ins and youth players due to the scenario.
