The Ireland facility was initially established in 1994 as Xilinx‘s first purpose-built facility outside of the United States. It commenced operations a year later, focusing on production, operational support, engineering, and management services. Since the acquisition of Xilinx, Ireland has developed a strong track record of delivering significant commercial successes, such as the AMD Zynq™ UltraScale+™ RFSoC semiconductor product family.
