Astralis has made the announcement that Kristoffer “Kristou” Aamand will be leaving their academy lineup as they head into the fall season.
This decision marks the end of Kristou‘s 10-month tenure with Astralis Talent, during which the team achieved impressive results, including two LAN tournament victories and six online tournament wins.
The departure of Kristou comes at a time when the Astralis organization and their academy team are undergoing changes. In June, coach Mathias “R0nic” Pinholt was promoted to the position of assistant coach for the senior lineup, and player Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth was benched in Astralis Talent.
During his time with Astralis Talent, Kristou played a crucial role in the team’s success, helping them secure first place in six online tournaments. One of their notable achievements was winning the CCT North Europe Series 4 in March. Additionally, the team claimed two local LAN trophies at the NPF Invitational 2022 and POWER Ligaen Season 23 Finals. Throughout these events, Kristou maintained an impressive average rating of 1.06.
The young player is currently searching for a new team to join.
