Dota 2 DPC Recap: Week 2 Upper Division

Week 2 of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) is over. This week we started to witness some heated games versus some fan favorite teams. In this article, we will recap Week 2 of DPC and see where teams stand. You can find our week 1 recap here. For the format and the rules of the tournament check here.

Europe (EU)

This week in European region fans witnessed an epic game between Alliance and OG. OG was sure to get the victory with mega creeps on their side, however, Artsiom “fng” Barshak’s Nature Prophet constantly split push the lanes to prevent that. At the end, Alliance won that game. Other than that it was business as usual with some good teams plays from teams such as Team Secret which managed to climb to the first spot.

China

Vici Gaming has the first spot which isn’t surprising while Team Aster getting 2 series wins still baffles some people. In the weeks to come, I expect these regions standings to shuffle quite a lot.

North America (NA)

All of the series played in this region ended with a 2-0 dominance of one side. Evil Geniuses still hold the top spot and I won’t be surprised if this lasts throughout the week. 4 Zoomers, the team that was seen as one of the best of the region has the 6th spot.

NAVI and Virtus.pro, the two top dogs of this region occupy the first and the second spots respectively. I don’t think this will change at all, however except a heated series between these two teams for the top spot.

Things are starting to heat in DPC 2021. Although some regions have clear top dogs that probably won’t lose their spot, other regions have fierce competition. Thanks for reading our week 2 recap of DPC and come back next week for our week 3 recap.
