According to Upcomer’s Tyler Erzberger, DAMWON KIA plans to add Nuguri to its roster and re-sign with ShowMaker and Canyon.
DAMWON KIA, who lost to Edward Gaming in WORLDS 2021 and finished the tournament in second place, wants to strengthen its squad. On the other hand, it is rumored that ShowMaker and Canyon recently met with DAMWON KIA. The organization has offered them multi-million per year deals to re-sign with the organization, according to Upcomer.
Nuguri signed with FPX one month after winning the championship with DAMWON KIA in WORLDS 2020. FPX finished second in both seasons of the LPL and was eliminated in the group stage at WORLDS 2021. The player is looking to return to South Korea.
