The ESA Open Fire All Stars tournament, which was planned to be held between 2-7 August, was postponed to a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With SuperMassive Blaze withdrawing from the tournament due to health problems and the BBL Esports team disbanding the bootcamp due to COVID-19 measures, the final fate of the tournament was a mystery.
In the statement made by ESA Esports, the event was postponed because 3 of the 8 teams that were participating in the tournament had symptoms of COVID-19. 2 people were even diagnosed with the disease.
Now however, ESA Esports has finally announced the new date for the highly anticipated ESA Open Fire All Stars. The event will be a double elimination tournament and will be held on 24-25-26-27-30-31 August. The Grand Final, which will be played as LAN, will be held on September 3 at the ESA Esports Arena.
Due to the pandemic measures, ESA Esports social media team announced that 30 people will only get to invite 2 guests each.
