The open qualifier#4 of the Valorant First Strike tournament ended today. With this process, 8 teams have managed to compete for Valorant’s first official tournament, the First Strike Finals. In the first tournament held in the Valorant by Riot Games, there was a very controversial process leading to the final.
With a total of four open qualifiers, the top two teams in each open qualifier would qualify for the First Strike Finals. Then they would compete in the tournament with a prize pool of £ 400,000.
Qualifiers
The first open qualifier took place between October 22-28. The First Strike excitement was officially starting and everyone who announced their professional teams in our country attended. At the end of the first open qualifier, the first two teams that will go to the finals were determined:
- Oxygen Esports (Winners Group)
- Futbolist (Losers Group)
The second open qualifier took place between 3-8 November. After the successful teams from the first tournament, the excitement continued without slowing down. The teams that qualified for the main tournament from this qualifier are:
- Sangal Esports (Winners Group)
- BBL Esports (Losers Group)
Then, open qualifier#3 took place on November 10-15. After the first four teams, the places started to fill up slowly and in this qualifier, we started to see the teams that the players played without organization. The teams that will go to the main tournament from this qualifier are:
- Mod-Z Esports (Winners Group)
- Anatolia e-Sports (Losers Group)
Finally, the fourth open qualifier came. This open qualifier was the last chance for the teams to go to the main event. It started on 17 November and ended today.
After the results, there was no obstacle left for the start of the First Strike Finals, where the best eight teams of our country will fight. The great fight will begin on December 3 and end on December 6. Also, all matches in the finals will be played in the Bo3 format and we will see a tournament tree in a double qualifier format. The excitement is absolutely top level for the First Strike Finals with a $ 400,000 prize pool. We think that the high competition we see in the qualifiers will rise to the next level in the finals.
