Complexity Signs Patrick “es3tag” Hansen!

Complexity is continuing with revisions to its roster. The origination has recruited Patrick “es3tag” Hansen, after parting ways with Jamie “keita” Hall and sending William “RUSH” Wierzba to the bench.

Complexity, one of the powerful teams of the American CS:GO scene, announced that 25-year-old Patrick “es3tag” Hansen has been added to its squad, which is led by Benjamin “blameF” Bremer. The player who was benched for the last 3 months within Cloud9 can finally participate.

In fact, yesterday, 27-year-old former Astralis and Heroic player William “RUSH” Wierzba’s role change signaled the transfer. Also, the North American team had already reported that it was in overhaul with the departure of Jamie “keita” Hall. Not long after this development, these predictions became certain with the transfer of es3tag.

Complexity CEO Jason Lake shared his thoughts on the transfer:

We’ve had an eye on es3tag for quite some time as he’s obviously an amazing player, Additionally, beyond that I believe his work ethic, attitude and knowledge of the game will help get this roster to the next level where it belongs. I’m extremely excited to welcome him to the Complexity family.

As you know, the North American team lost to G2 and Virtus.pro in the group stage at IEM Cologne and took the last place. In fact, the team hopes to achieve long-term and deep-rooted success with this transfer.

The 25-year-old experienced support player has returned to the active squad with this transfer. At Cloud9, the squad prepared by Henry “HenryG” Greer, the general director of the time, failed. The famous Los Angeles-based organization suspended the CS:GO part of the organization after this five-month unsuccessful route.

The Danish player’s teammates were transferred or switched to VALORANT, while es3tag became the last player to part ways with Cloud9 after about three months.

Complexity Reunites es3tag and blameF in the Roster

In addition, we can say that this transfer is promising for team chemistry. Because es3tag had played along with Benjamin ”blameF” Bremer in Heroic in 2019.

Considering the importance of the compatibility of the leader of the team with a player, this creates some potential. es3tag and blameF had significant success in ESL Pro League S9 and ESL Cologne during their work together. With these achievements, their team promoted Heroic to the top eight.

With this transfer, Complexity’s current roster is:

  • Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
  • Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke
  • Valentin “poizon” Vasilev
  • Justin “jks” Savage
  • Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
  • William “RUSH” Wierzba (Sub)
