With its $1.5 million prize pool, Gamers Without Borders is one of the biggest gaming events out there. This year, the famous non-profit organization will start on June 22.
Gamers Without Borders is a non-profit festival featuring a range of live shows, concerts and esports tournaments. The festival will take place for the second time this year. It is financed by the Saudi Arabian Electronic and Intellectual Sports Federation (SAFEIS). ESL will host the CS:GO tournament, and distribute $10 million in just one part of the event.
The CS:GO part will take place between June 22-27. The host organization will distribute the prize pool between the top teams accordingly. Then, each team will pick a non-profit organization or a charity and donate their awards. Gamers Without Borders made its debut last year in 2020 with its focus on raising awareness for COVID-19 and health organizations. This year’s main theme will be the distribution of COVID-19 Vaccines to developing and underdeveloped countries.
The tournament will take place with 8 teams consisting of 2 groups and 4 teams under each group. The group matches will be in best of three format while play-offs will be single-elimination. 2020’s event was in MR12 format, however, this year it will be in MR15 style. Participants are as follows:

This group stage will take place between June 22 and 27. Play-offs will follow after these group matches. Also, as we mentioned earlier, tournament will not just be about matches. The event will focus on donation and charity.
