Sangal Esports Got Its First Win in Snow Sweet Snow 1!

Turkish Representative Sangal Esports won its first victory by defeating the GamerLegion team in the Snow Sweet Snow 1 event which is organized by Relog Media.

Relog Media has previously made a name for itself with Home Sweet Home and Nine to Five events. Currently, the Snow Sweet Snow 1 event, organized by Relog Media, continues at full speed. Turkish representative Sangal achieved to participate in the final stages in the event, which they passed 2 different stages of the event. In the final stage of the event, in today’s played match Sangal got its first win with a score of 2-1 against GamerLegion.

We have won against Gamer Legion Team in Snow Sweet Snow 1 Main Swiss Stage.

A Brief Review of Sangal Esports vs. GamerLegion Match

In the first match of the Snow Sweet Snow 1 event, Sangal Esports lost 2-1 against the Endpoint team. With a loss against the Endpoint, Sangal Esports faced to GamerLegion today, in the loser group in round 2. Dust2, Mirage, and Train maps were played in the match.

First Map – Dust2:

The first map selection was made by Sangal and Dust2 map was selected. Sangal made an excellent start in Dust2. At the end of the first half, they were in the lead by 7 scores, 11-4. Sangal maintained this good performance in the second half, too. They didn’t give much chance to their opponent. Sangal won the first map with a score of 16-5. In the first map, ‘first kill’ counts were head to head. Sangal had 11 first kills while the GamerLegion had 10 first kills.

Second Map – Mirage:

The second map selection was made by GamerLegion. Map selection was the Mirage map. In the beginning, the effects of the loss from Dust2 has seen on the GamerLegion team. Sangal started the match with good condition. They made a winning streak of 5. But over time, GamerLegion was able to recover. They managed to finish the first half, with an 8-7 lead over Sangal.

At the start of the second half, Sangal maintained a lead again. But this lead didn’t continue as in the first half. GamerLegion team managed to turn the game against Sangal. After losing 2 clutches in the match, Sangal clearly showed its opposing team that they lost their momentum. GamerLegion won the second map with a score of 16-12. This victory made the overall result 1-1 and ensured the playing of the 3rd map. In this match, GamerLegion was by far the leading in the first kills. GamerLegion had 18 while Sangal had 10.

Third Map – Train:

The last map of the series and the map that would determine the winner was the Train map. GamerLegion made a good start on the last map. They managed to achieve a winning streak of 4. But, there was something that they didn’t see coming in this match. Sangal is a very experienced team in this kind of level matches, due to their previous matches on events. They maintained good coordination and broke the winning streak. On the CT side, they didn’t allow GamerLegion to pass. The first half ended with a lead of Sangal, 9 to 6.

Sangal, in the second half, showed us their experience and didn’t let GamerLegion breathe. Their coordination and plays led them to victory on the 3rd map. Sangal won the 3rd map with a score of 16-8. In this map, Sangal won 2 clutches while GamerLegion won only 1. First kill counts were even in this match with both teams having 12 first kills.

With these results, Sangal got its first win in the Snow Sweet Snow Main Swiss Stage.

To summarize the match briefly, looking overall, Sangal made a very good start to the series. Sangal wiped out its opponent on Dust2, so to speak. However, the same performance was absent in the second map. But we witnessed the fruits of the lessons learned from previous tournaments ripened in the third game.

So far, Sangal Esports has earned $ 4,000 in the Snow Sweet Snow 1 event. From now on, each win will bring $ 1,000 with it. If they manage to find a place in the Top8, an extra $ 3,000 will be added to their pockets. The tournament winner will win $ 40,000.
